An Enjoyable
Dance
The dance given at A. Friedmann complimentary to the employees of The Sidney Pole and Shaft Company and their friends
last evening was a decided success. Something over two hundred people were in attendance.
The second floor of their new building was decorated with bunting that hung from the
rafters and the Reed band

Goodbye By Mandolin
The G. Y. C. mandolin club, composed of John Gartley, Clyde Yinger, Nick Crusey and Cloyd
Knox, went to the house of John E. Bush and wife on Sulpher Heights last evening and
treated them to an excellent farewell serenade. Mr. Bush ... his wife and daughter Bertha
left this morning for Los Angeles, California, to visit for a few months with Dr. C. W.
